Start by planting sunflowers. They give you a lot of light and sun for which you can buy all the other plants. Sunflowers must be guarded because they only provide light but don't protect you from zombie attacks. With each level, the zombies become more and more, but your plants will grow more. The best plants are the ones that shoot, precisely in the "Plants vs. Zombies" game.

When you are already at high levels, zombies can attack you at night, which is terrible for your sunflowers because they need the sun to give you more sun. In that case, it is better to use mushrooms, they also provide light, but they are much cheaper to plant than sunflowers. The main thing in this game is your plants' right strategy and position.
