In the first part, our hero tries to find a way out of a hellish lab on an island crawling with zombies. Escaping by helicopter, he flew to the city. The all-in-one incident caused a mutation in the zombie blood activator. The specific effects led to an epidemic spreading throughout the world. Our hero starts his journey on the roof of one of the high-rise buildings. After going down the stairs, he meets hungry dead, who again start attacking him and trying to eat him. Luckily, he still has a stockpile of weapons, which means he can shoot back. Running through the corridors and various rooms, our hero shoots zombies and looks for the exit from the lab to the street, which is also full of zombies. He has to face whole crowds of zombies roaming the streets.
