"Alternate World: Chapter 1" is an atmospheric adventure game about survival in a post-apocalyptic world that will tell you the story of Maxim, the secondary character of Bunker 21. Once, a terrible biological disaster caused the spread of an unknown virus that turned people into ferocious monsters. Thanks to records in the diary, the main character named Andrew finds a secret research center, where he discovers the portal from which, as it turned out, an arrived virus. After the remnants of humanity evacuate into orbit, the government finally destroys the planet with a nuclear strike to eliminate the infection's effects. At this very moment, Maxim, learning that everything around him will soon turn into radioactive ash, decides to hide in one of the abandoned underground complexes.
