Welcome to the little Shimmer and Shine. These babies have a little secret — they're genies! They're friends with a girl named Leah. She has a lamp-shaped pendant around her neck. This lamp is magical, and there is a town called Zaramei. That's where Shimmer and Shine live. Every day the little genies can grant three wishes to their little friend. But the girls are tiny and are just learning to be genies and grant wishes. That's why Shimmer and Shine are often mistaken and get into awkward and comical situations, which they always get out of thanks to their cleverness, wit, and cheerful character. The girls have favorite pets. Shimmer's pet is a joyful and elegant monkey named Tala, and Shine has an excellent tiger cub named Nala. These cheerful guys invite you to play along with them.
