The action of Streets of Rage will unfold in a major city that has been taken over by one of the crime syndicates. No one in the city could stand up to them. Even the police couldn't do anything about it. The city government also had to bend over and side with the villains. The funny thing is that no one saw the leader of this syndicate with his own eyes. To everyone, he is incognito. Looting, violence, destruction, and other things had become commonplace in the city. Walking down the street during the day and at night was now dangerous. But there were still a few guys who used to work for the police. Now they began to lynch the bandits. Adam Hunter, Axel Stone, and Blaze Fielding were the ones who declared war on the underworld.
