It soon transpires that the palace has been invaded by the priest Heishin, using strange magic. When the villain gets to Atem, he puts him before a choice: either he gives him the riddle of the millennium, or he will kill the Egyptian king and queen. To prevent this, the tutor Muran seals himself and Atem inside the puzzle to wait for someone to reassemble it.
