Game Mode Description:
  • ClanHouse - This section presents Clan Houses - servers owned by clans. Clans themselves manage their servers, can choose an FFA or Experimental mode, and can close their server password.
  • FFA - Basic Mode. Eat food to grow and eat other players. Green viruses will break you into multiple pieces. This mode features the largest number of servers, including giant servers for 300, 400, and 700 slots! Plenty of room for everyone! The feed size on the servers is different, from 1 to 3. On the Siberia server, the feed size is random. The size of one ball in the game is limited to 22500 units of mass.
  • TEAM - Fighting between three teams: green, red, and blue. You can choose your color before the game. During the game, it is impossible to change the name and team. In our variant, their team players do not interfere with each other.
  • ARENA - In arenas, it's every man for himself, and everyone has only one life. If you lose, wait until the end of the round and join a new party. But if you win - that's it, congratulations! One oversized card (4K) is the first in this mode. All other cards are small (2.5K). If the required number of players is not reached before the start of the round, the server will add evil and aggressive bots to the game! Attention! In this team mode, play agreed in advance is forbidden!
  • CRAZY FFA - This is a crazy and crazy variation of the classic FFA mode. The mass you shoot off via W on these servers doesn't feed. It takes weight away from your opponents! All players start with 400 units of mass.
  • ZOMBIE - One of the most challenging modes in the Petri dish. A single zombie is chosen at the beginning of the round. The zombies' task is to enslave as many humans as possible by touching them. The task of the humans is to prevail in this fight. The map contains boosters that will help in this game - "Hero" (only humans can get it), allowing eating a zombie or heal from infection (before you finally become a zombie), and "Brain" booster - giving zombies super speed. If the zombie eats the "Hero" booster, it will die. Playing in this mode without skins or turning off the simple renderer is recommended. Otherwise, you will have a hard time distinguishing zombie teams from humans.
  • DEATHMATCH - You cannot eat another player in this mode. He can only be shot using your W rounds. And viruses are not afraid of you here - now it's your defense against bullets. Ranking of the top 10 is counted by the number of killed enemy balls (Frags). All players start with 700 units of mass. In this mode, you can divide into a maximum of 4 units.
  • Black Hole - This mode is like FFA. Only here do you have to feed the black hole to be at the top! You can feed either with a spacebar or a W. You can not die - points are burned. FIXED are servers where the Black Hole stands still. MOVING are servers where it moves.

Controls:
  • - movement
  • - split up
  • - feed or shoot
  • - menus
  • - Turn compass on/off
  • - pause

How to play?

Once your baby gets more robust, you can start a full-fledged hunt for other bacteria. You can devour enemy bacteria that are two to two and a half times smaller than yours. As you eat other bacteria, you'll get bigger and bigger. On the right-hand corner of the screen, there is a ranking where players are placed as their bacteria mass increases. The greater your mass, the higher your order. But remember, gaining mass will cause you to lose speed. Your bacteria will become large and slow, but even in this position, you can attack and eat your competitors using division into two parts. Sometimes this trick can save your bacteria. When you divide the bacteria into two parts, both halves become faster, so you can quickly escape the enemy. After splitting, the bacteria will merge within thirty seconds. If the enemies eat one of the halves, you can continue the game with the remaining part of the bacteria. Also, you can shoot viruses and use different tactics. And now, let's talk about a few more petri dish tricks. Scattered around the perimeter of the map are barbs - viruses. As long as you're tiny, you have nothing to fear. You can even hide behind a barb to avoid being absorbed. But if you have already gained noticeable mass, a collision with the thorn will have unpleasant consequences. Your bacterium will shatter into many crumbs, and you'll have to try hard not to let your opponents take advantage of your sad situation. Since Petri Dish, or if you prefer Petri Dish, is designed as a multiplayer browser game, you will get plenty of benefits. You can take your friends to help you and master the team game. To discuss your tactics and strategies, you can use in-game chat. Many gamers even have team skins that allow you to find out your comrades in action. Also, there are a lot of modes in the game, and you can find the description below. Have fun!
